Lionel Messi scored a goal and set up another before leaving the field because of a leg injury. Inter Miami beat Nashville 3-1 in the second leg of the round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
It was Messi who set up Luis Suarez, a former partner from Barcelona, for the first goal in the eighth minute. He then scored another goal in the first half, giving Inter Miami a 2-0 lead early on Wednesday night.

The great Argentinian player was taken off in the 50th minute. Later, coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino said that Messi had a mild leg injury that started hurting him during the game and was taken off as a safety measure.
