BJP First List: PM and 34 Ministers on BJP’s First List of 195 Candidates for Lok Sabha Polls in 2024

In New Delhi: The BJP released a list of 195 candidates before the election dates were even confirmed. They did this to get a huge head start on their goal of winning 370 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. PM Narendra Modi, who will be running for office for the third time from Varanasi, and Home Minister Amit Shah, who will be running again from Gandhinagar in Gujarat, are at the top of the list.

On the list are up to 34 ministers and two former chief ministers. There are also 28 women, 47 leaders under 50 years old, and 57 people from the OBC group. The most important state is Uttar Pradesh, which has 51 of the 195. West Bengal has 20, and Delhi has five.

Three people are running for Delhi: Praveen Khandelwal, Manoj Tiwari, and Bansuri Swaraj, who is Sushma Swaraj’s daughter. Ramesh Bidhuri caused a lot of trouble last year when he was accused of making racist comments about BSP member Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha. He has not been elected from the South Delhi seat again. Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, who is the leader of the opposition in the Delhi Assembly, will now run for the post.

This should make for an interesting election.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, a Rajya Sabha MP from Guna in Madhya Pradesh, will be running against other Union ministers.

He now seems destined for a national role. Alok Sharma will now argue against this.

Along with the other top candidates, Hema Malini will run from Mathura, where she has been a lawmaker since 2014.
